Researchers from Gargi College (University of Delhi) looked into the use of herbs for the prevention of diabetes. This study, which was published in Herbal Medicine: Open Access, serves as a review of the different anti-diabetic properties of various herbs.
- Pre-diabetes is a condition that often precedes Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. People with this condition experience impaired glucose tolerance.
- Some herbs and botanical ingredients have been observed to inhibit or slow down the development of pre-diabetes into diabetes by regulating blood sugar.
