Pass the Salt: Coach Dave Daubenmire talks about the fight for truth – Brighteon.TV

Coach Dave Daubenmire of Pass the Salt Ministries touched on the fight for truth on the Sept. 20 edition of his “Pass the Salt” program on Brighteon.tv. He mentions in his program how the truth has been muddled by different interpretations of it and lies from mainstream media. Daubenmire also posts the question: “Who is funding good?”

Daubenmire acknowledges the blatant propaganda shown in the mainstream media as of late. He lauds Brighteon.tv as one of the few outlets that show the whole truth. “It’s always interesting and I always walk away with a different perspective,” he says.

“I never thought we would reach the point where we are today, where only one side of the story gets talked [about.] Only one side, no more open debate. Remember when the liberals – or who people used to call “liberals” – were for free speech? But now, the liberals are against free speech. They want controlled speech … only the speech that they want out there,” the former football coach turned pastor says.

Daubenmire continues that aside from propaganda, liberals also espouse censorshipthrough shadow banning and other methods. “What [it’s] doing to us is it’s creating people with … the same attitudes and the same opinions,” he warns.

He also mentions the establishment’s attack on physician Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, who is critical of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, as an example of this censorship. Instead of vaccines, she promotes hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin as treatments for SARS-CoV-2 infection. But because of this, Tenpenny faces suppression from the establishment.

“They [want to] bring her before the medical board in the state of Ohio, suspend her license and make her undergo a psychological evaluation. In other words they’re telling Tenpenny that she’s nuts. They’re afraid … because she’s not falling in line and complying with all the demands of [Dr. Anthony] Fauci and … the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention],” Daubenmire says.

Petty disagreements make Christians lose sight of the actual battle

“Not everything we’ve been told is true. Even out of the Bible, not everything that [it] says is true,” Daubenmire argues. He continues that despite the Bible being the Word of God, people still come up with their own interpretation of it. Daubenmire cites the existence of different denominations such as the Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostals and Episcopalians for this varied interpretation. “We all believe the Bible to be true, but the truth is we don’t all agree on what [it] says,” he remarks.

Daubenmire adds that because of the Christian community’s refusal to stand up to the truth, different churches fight over non-essential issues – making the larger community less effective in the bigger battle going on. “Look at where we are in the church. Somebody needs to do something,” he says.

He also condemns Christian churches for failing to become salt and light. “The church is nonexistent or missing in action in the cultural war. We’re the salt of the earth and light of the world. But the light’s been turned off … and the salt has been put back in the salt shaker. We have men standing [at] the pulpit saying ‘Here in our church, we don’t mix the secular and the sacred.’ In other words, religion and politics don’t mix. How’s that worked out for us?,” Daubenmire says. (Related: Coach Dave Daubenmire reveals how American institutions have abandoned God – Brighteon.TV.)

Daubenmire expressed a similar sentiment during the Sept. 1 episode of “America Unhinged” on Brighteon.tv. He told the program’s host Dr. John Diamond that “there’s really no human in the body of Christ.” Daubenmire also shared his realization that most pastors were unfit to be the salt of the earth as they were “impotent, unconcerned and uninvolved.”

The former football coach added: “They all knew I was a Christian and the [American Civil Liberties Union] comes and sues me … because we’re praying with our team, and not a peep from the pulpits. In fact, some … thought I was out of line, that I shouldn’t be praying with our football team because it was against the law – which of course … shows how ignorant they are.” (Related: America Unhinged: Dr. John Diamond talks about salt and light with coach Dave Daubenmire – Brighteon.TV.)

Daubenmire also tackled on the Sept. 20 edition of his show the question of “who is funding good?” He first encounters the question during a conference he and Tenpenny have participated in.

“We know who’s funding evil. People [tell] us … it’s George Soros, it’s labor unions [and] it’s the teacher’s unions. But who’s funding good? [The] more we begin to ask that question ourselves and ask and others, the same answers begin to arise – nobody, really,” he says.

The pastor mentions the work of evangelist Franklin Graham and groups such as the Family Research Council, American Family Association and Focus on the Family. But he ends with this question: “Who is funding our battle for truth, justice and the American way against the forces of darkness?”
