HOW TO MAKE TERIYAKI MARINADE FOR SALMON

SALMON

Scale: 1x2x3x

1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 medium green onions, white and green parts, finely sliced
DIRECTIONS

1. To make the Teriyaki marinade for salmon: Combine all ingredients—soy sauce, water, brown sugar, white vinegar, vegetable oil, minced garlic, and green onions—in a medium bowl. Stir gently until the sugar is completely dissolved. Use the Teriyaki marinade immediately or store it in the refrigerator, covered, for up to six to seven days after preparation.

2. Add the salmon fillet to a Ziploc bag and pour a little of the marinade over. Roll and seal the bag, then store in the refrigerator until ready to cook. Not more than 1 hour because the acidity tends to “cook” the salmon– but this does affect the texture but not the taste. Enjoy How many pounds have you lost this month?
