Lemon Garlic Baked Cod

NGREDIENTS YOU NEED FOR THE LEMON GARLIC BAKED COD

Scale: 1x2x3x
1 1/2 lb (600g) cod fillets, fresh or frozen, rinsed and pat dry
1/4 teaspoon salt and fresh cracked pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Instant bouillon, optional
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Slice of lemon, for garnish
DIRECTIONS

1. To make the baked cod fillets: reheat your oven to 400ºF (200°C). Prepare a baking dish.

2. Arrange the cod fillets in the baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, Cayenne, instant bouillon (if using). Then drizzle the fish fillets with olive oil and lemon juice.

3. Bake the cod fillets until the fish is opaque in the thickest part, 10-15 minutes. Garnish the lemon garlic baked cod with parsley and lemon slices and serve immediately.
